		<description>Thanks for these comments.  I was delighted to see that AVATAR didn&#039;t win Best Picture and was shocked that it won Best Cinematography, although I can see how it won in other &quot;technical/arts&quot; categories.  But as the ceremonies progressed, my friends and I began talking about what a great film DISTRICT 9 really is and how it deserved just as much or more attention than AVATAR.  It had a great plot (where AVATAR failed miserably) and fantastic special effects that actually seemed real, adding to the story and not taking away from or replacing it...all for, what, around 270 million dollars cheaper?  Talk about excellence in filmmaking!</description>
